  1. Hey you helped me out about a week ago with RLP stuff. Just got the letter and it says I have to pay £99.50 over a £5 item - I’m not going to pay. But I want the letters to stop coming to my house is there anyway to give them a new address? Or to tell them to stop? Pls help

  2. Last week I attempted to steal a £5 beauty product from Superdrug. They got the product back but it was taken out of the packaging but not tampered with. I don’t know why I did this and it certainly will never happen again. I was caught, asked to go back inside and was asked to prove my age (16) which I did or he threatened to call the police or my parents if I didn’t not provide proof of age. No parents or police were called. After this he took down my name, DOB, phone number and address. He said I would receive a fine in the mail for around £70 but I could pay it off slowly over time and if I didn’t there would be debt collectors involved. I was in a state of shock and trying not to cry I was so embarrassed and ashamed so I can’t remember the details. He took my photo and uploaded it to this app where other security guards would know that I had shoplifted before if I was caught again. He said that would stay on the system for 12 months. He said I was banned from Superdrug but in my panic I can’t recall for how long, I feel like he said for life but I’m not sure. Does this actually mean for life? Im going to avoid shopping for as long as possible and do my shopping online instead bcus of the fear that a security guard will recognise me and search my bags after I leave any store and inform the person I’m with of what I’ve done. I’ve read many of these threads telling me to not pay the RPL letter that I am expecting and I would like to follow that but I have the following issues that I was hoping you guys could help my resolve. Telling my parents is not an option and I did not come here for people to tell me that it is bcus due to circumstances it’s just not. Me receiving letters won’t be suspicious and I doubt my parents would open it. • does anyone know what the envelope looks like? or has a photo of it? • when the debt collectors come is it likely to say debt collectors on the envelope? • How would I go about changing my address? What address should I use? Are they likely to believe this and send it to my new “address” and if they don’t hear a response from that address will they send it to the original address that I gave them? Any advise or tips would be really appreciated. I just want to emphasise that this is so out of character for me and not something that I will do again nor that I think is acceptable behaviour. Thank you so much
