  1. Thank you I am most grateful to you for your assistance. I have been charged an additional fee. I am happy to pay it all as long as they stop hassling me as it’s quite stressful and I just wanted to settle it.They contact me only texts which I found quite strange. H & M said they would register a default but have not done so. Thanks again for putting my mind at rest. around 2015 I had a similar issue and both the company and the creditor who bought the debt registered a default. It’s a shame as I had Begum off work for a few months due to ill health and missed the two letters they write. Thanks again
  2. Thank you for your kind response dx100uk. I am about to get a mortgage in a couple of months and do not want to get a default registered on my account. Does this mean if I pay Avato they have no right to register a default and if so, will H & M register a default? thankS again for your help
  3. Dear Sirs I have been rather unwell over the latter part of the year as such I had missed a couple of letters written to me by H & M stating that they would transfer my debt to a company called Avato. In actual fact I am yet to see such a letter. I did not realise when I purchased some goods I had five do using credit. I have proof of being unwell if required. The company called Avato had written to me only by text and it would not give me info on what’s it was about unless I gave my DOB or address. I was a bit worried to this but did so recently and found out it was an old H & M debt. I am happy to pay my £37 debut which I am told is around £57 now subject to me not receiving a default on my credit report. Currently there is no default. Nor does it show that I have a debt with Avato or H & M. please help as I am very worried. kind regards Shez
