I refused to pay the bill as all previous quarterly bills were 300, but they sent a error bill of 980 for a quarter which I refused to pay , unless they checked it properly was November 2014. ive heard nothing since until now.so I'm ignoring it as I have terminal cancer and least of my worries. Hi ,,I've received a letter stating I owe 1200 from 2014 to March 2015 regarding a old address for electricity which I do not admit too ,,I've heard nothing in over 5 years,,il ignore as it should be statute barred next year. I haven't responded are they just trying it on. Cheers

Gb energy was for gas and n power electric

Must of searched on electoral roll, plus npower whom I used for electricity cancelled my account in January 2017

There's nothing on my credit file no defaults no nothing which makes me suspicious as gb energy went into liquidation, just very suspicious My ex landlord said they would organise it, as far as we were concerned gb energy went bust and taken over, I don't mind paying up to December 2016 but not 800 when I wasn't even living there

Advice please so I need to know what action to take. In July 2016 I signed up with gb energy supply paying £35 pcm in October gb energy changed over to cooperative and my bill in November 2016 was £26 in debit, December I moved out of the property to Scotland which I have all the evidence to prove, just received a bill of £890 for energy used till October 2017, and there threatening with legal action, where do I stand as I wasn't even at that address in 2017
