  1. Ok thank you Dx. Will look at that again though believe it or not I already had! Not sure re the info on search that you have...unless I wasn't signed in? Genuinely puzzled. I've definitely checked every thread on Shoreham Port, GXS some BW legal & others and researched others in the past, been helped and donated. Surprised there's no activity showing.
  2. Thank you dx100uk. I'm honestly not trying to be lazy about this. I have done quite a bit of looking up on threads and generally googled lbc and lba and loc to be honest just was still not sure and I am still not sure exactly what makes the difference between some of these 'begging letters' because I have seen different formats. I don't know if an lbc or lba is the same as a loc for example because it would seem logically they're not but reading up when I've googled I just don't know...and so why I want to ask for advice. If I'm not using the forum correctly I apologise.
  3. So, I received this letter yesterday. Is this still a debt letter or is it now a Letter Before Claim? It gives what looks like 2 weeks before... Whatever comes next.. I am not sure? Any thoughts or advice would be welcome. Thank you. BW Legal 1st Oct 21 pdf.pdf
  4. I'm wondering...is this likely to go to a letter of claim next? It does say they will proceed through legal means to recover what they think is owed. If it is I'd like to get ahead of the game and prepare whatever I need as I'll be having visitors to stay from end September for a month. Any experience or thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.
  5. Yes.... thank you. I have read some of those. The Port Authority should be outside POFA 2012 schedule 4 I think? So they should not have gotten my keeper details. Wondering if I should file a complaint to DVLA and ICO? I've also taken a snapshot of what Shoreham Port say on their website about parking and penalty charge notices and have found a consultation paper for management of parking which talks about clamping & towing. No idea if that will be useful if it comes to it.

  7. Earlier this year I got a notice to keeper from GXS for unpaid parking in Shoreham port Basin Road South. The driver thought they had paid but as it turns out the payment didn't go through, unnoticed at the time due to being in a distracted state of upset. I have since received various debt collection letters but the latest one from BW Legal looks like it is a letter before claim? I have read up on this forum but I'm not familiar with these things so would appreciate advice. Is this a letter which requires action? Do I have any grounds for challenge that will hold up in court or should I just pay this inflated figure? I'm attaching the original NTK and most recent BW legal letter. Thank you. Ps apologies ..the upload has the images in wrong order. Page 4 is actually page 1.GXS Shoreham.pdf
  8. Just to let you know I have spoken with the hospital and they have liaised with PEA to get this PCN cancelled. The hospital apologised for the distress caused and have asked me to leave them know if I get any further grief. Job done. Thank you for your help.
  9. Interesting. They would have to take me to court in England rather that in NI in which case I'd have to come back to NI for that. I'll make best efforts to get it cancelled through the hospital and feel more confident now to let this run its course with them if need be. I'll let you know how I get on with the hospital. When I get a chance I'll load up the PCN for reference. Thank you.
  10. Thank you Dragonfly. You've been really helpful. I won't be able to get pictures of the signage. Apart from the fact I don't want to see the place again I am traveling back to England tomorrow. I will follow up with the hospital first. I think that's a good idea. I can't out next kin through all the aggressive letters I've had in the past. Thank you.
  11. I am direct family of the deceased (my parent) but not next of kin and will not be the pe son getting all the letters which could result from this. A BB was definitely visible, no question, but it could have been wrong way up. Not highest priority when rushing to be at a dying person's bedside. I will upload the PCN in jpg form as that's what I'm able to do at the moment. Thank you. Ok, so I'm having problems uploading. Getting an error on fonts? I'm going to need to read the guidelines to upload this and come back later.
