  1. Thanks for the reply! I just want to know why they have refused me, they are not willing to say why, I just don't understand.
  2. I am sorry, could this be moved to the Natwest page?
  3. Hello everyone, I have applied for current accounts with Natwest and RBS which have both been denied (even though I was originally accepted) I want to know why they have refused me as my credit file is in good condition, no defaults etc so do I need to send an SAR? if so, is there a specific template? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
  4. I just got this message, " In accordance with the Consumer Contract (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a 14 day cooling off period within which you can cancel your order, free of charge, and be refunded the full amount originally charged for the order including any special delivery charges. If however we have already dispatched the goods to you it will be up to you to return the goods to us at your expense and a full refund, minus any special delivery charges, will be issued upon receipt of the goods unless the goods are found to have a manufacturing fault in which case we will collect the goods free of charge. There are some exclusions to this policy including bespoke and made to order item"
  5. Will this be ok for the 'Particulaors of Claim' on the Money Claim website? "I purchased a sofa set from UK SOFAS, however, the sofa which was delivered did not match what I ordered. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I can legally reject the goods which I have done however the owner will not fully refund me, he owes me £109.99, a payment of £430 has already been received."
  6. I did but they are just refusing to accept Royal Mail recorded letters, legally can I email it to them?
  7. Update - I got a refund of £430, so they have charged me £89.99 for return delivery, I have just sent him the details of the consumer rights act that he has to pay, not me, he will refuse though.
  8. The seat cushions are much darker, my a light grey. I am expecting the refund tomorrow, if they don't fully refund me then I will send them the second letter.
  9. Bit of an update, they came to collect the sofas today, the same two rude ones who delivered but to protect myself to show that none of the sofas are damaged, I took pictures yesterday and I was recording them on my iphone today within my flat to show if any damage was to occur it would be their fault, not mine but they didn't like me recording and began to get rude, telling me to .... etc
  10. I just got a text saying that I should receive a reply letter in the next few days, so I can only assume he's not going to play ball, I guess I need to draft up the LBA letter?
  11. The faux leather should be a light brown, it's black in the picture, the seat cushions should be lighter too which is why I have to reject them. (Ordered another from DFS)
  12. So, these are the pictures of what I ordered (right), and what I got. (left) IMG_0171.pdf Lush_Scatter_Back_3_and_2_Seater_Suite_1.pdf
  13. I just phoned the bank, they are unable to dispute the payment as it was a transfer and not with my card so they can't do a visa dispute. I'm probably £539.99 out of pocket then.
  14. How long do I need to give him and if he does not play ball what would be my next move? Thank you for all the help so far.
  15. Hi Martin, I can update the letter and send it to him via email?
  16. I changed it to a PDF, the letter has been attached. Rejection Letter.pdf
  17. I can attach documents yet but I have copied and pasted it below, I thought I said all the right things, whoops. Letter; (My address) UKSOFAS Mr Jamil Hussain 41 Litchfield Road Birmingham B6 5RW 18th March 2017 Receipt # 0140 Dear Mr Hussain, Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I have legally rejected the goods delivered on the 17th March 2017 which are the ‘Lucy 3 + 2’ Sofas Set as they do not match what I ordered. I can legally do this even if you think the correct sofas have been sent, please see below; Under paragraph 8 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015; (8) Whether or not the consumer has a duty to return the rejected goods, the trader must bear any reasonable costs of returning them, other than any costs incurred by the consumer in returning the goods in person to the place where the consumer took physical possession of them. Please arrange collection of the sofas as soon as possible. This letter has been sent to reserve my legal position. I look forward to hearing from you, Yours Sincerely, Mr Kian O’Tierney
  18. I have sent them a letter today, explaining my legal rights (section 8) and it was send via Royal Mail Signed For.
