  1. Hi, many thanks for your detailed reply. I was thinking more specifically negotiating to not include find-a-job in my CC when it is next reviewed.
  2. Can you refuse this directly to the work coach? I was under the impression they could add (within reason) anything they liked to the CC and you had to take it up with a decision maker to disagree with any part, or otherwise end your claim by not signing the CC.
  3. I remember something in some of the previous documentation stating that it was our choice how we present our job search records. Does that still apply and if so, can we refuse (I mean legitimately, not just at the work coach's discretion) to offer printouts as long as we continue to fill out the little booklets or provide our own written/printed summaries?
  4. Are there tick-boxes you can opt out of similar to the ones on Universal Jobmatch?: "I authorise DWP to view my accounts..." "I would like to receive DWP email messages"
  5. I should also add I have already waited the 3-month habitual residence period and I am in a "Tranche 4" area for UC (though I'm not completely sure what that means).
  6. Hi, I have recently returned from working abroad and am currently single, no kids, looking for work and have applied for JSA. I have my first meeting coming up with JCP and I am unsure about the situation with UC and whether or not my claim will be treated as a UC claim instead. I would very much prefer to be on JSA and had some questions. Can I choose between JSA or UC, or is this forced on me and is a way or trick to force/encourage them to put me on JSA? Will I know which benefit I am on before I sign at my first meeting? If I am put on UC and choose to quit in the future and forgo the £73 p/w, can I go back to council-based housing/council tax benefit? Thanks in advance
