  1. No. The debt hasn’t been with the original creditor for a long time. I think it’s been with Arrow since 2008 and we had been paying pay plan for a few years but in 2014 when everything got to much due to my husbands ill health and loosing his job we stopped paying non priority debts and allowed our home to be repossessed so we could save a deposit and rent.
  2. The credit card was MBNA and was roughly 2002 when taken out but we honestly can’t remember. I believe the last payment was in 2014 via pay plan. CCJ registered in 2016.
  3. Sorry to sound dumb but what claim form am I asking for. The address registered for the CCJ doesn’t match where I lived at the time although they can say it was my fault for not updating them
  4. My husband had a letter from our local county court requesting him to complete an income/expenditure form. The client was Arrow. Due to a lot of financial stress in 2014 and loosing our home I had forgotten about the debt but noticed last year a CCJ for Arrow. It relates to an old MBNA credit card. I phoned Arrow who told me to ring Restons. My husband gave permission for me to deal with it. I responded by asking for a copy of the CCA so awaiting their response. I also called the court and they asked if my husband was employed. I advised no so she advised fill out the form stating unemployed and as the forms were a attachment of earnings form she says as he’s unemployed they can’t take it any further. Is there anything else I need to do. Thanks
  5. The house was only repossessed in September 2014. Picture wrote to us about 3 weeks ago just saying we've found you, ring us but I didn't. Then yesterday an agent from Excel turned up.
  6. Thank you. I shall try and find an address for Picture and write to them with our situation
  7. My husband had lost his job due to illness and it took time for benefits to be sorted. Our house was old and needed a lot of work doing so after considering our circumstances at the time we handed the keys back. We had a £115,000 mortgage and £25,000 secured loan. The house sold for £60,000 therefore leaving a large shortfall. As of yet we haven't heard from the mortgage company and only heard from Picture last month after 3 years. I'll admit I've made no attempt to pay. I buried my head in the sand. My husbands health is poor and he's recently been diagnosed with PTSD. He sees a psychiatrist for mental health issues after suicide attempts. I really don't want an agent in the home as it will cause him stress. I've been trying to locate Pictures details online but i can't find a telephone number
  8. Many thanks for the advice. Would it be best to try and speak to Picture direct? I really don't want an agent in my home simply due to my husbands poor physical and mental health. Also must I complete a income/expenditure form the agent wants?
  9. I've come home today to be told by my husband that a company called Excel have been to our home. I know it's regarding a Picture secured loan we have. It was secured on our property that was repossessed just over 3 years ago. We have made no payments for 3 1/2 years. I did call advising the agent not to call again. He said I've a secured loan to pay and he seemed surprised when I said the property was repossessed 3 years ago. Can someone advise how best to proceed. I'm a carer for my husband who is on high rate disability benefits and we private rent our house. We have 3 daughters aged 18, 15 and 13 who all live at home. We have very little money spare. What's the worst they can do to us? Thank you
  10. 2 labs but soft of clarts. The kids are more frightening.
  11. No. I binned the card. Next time they knock my husband will answer and he's going to tell them not to call again. Not sure if they'll listen to him though.
  12. A card asking to call them to discuss my account.
  13. According to my file the Loan was taken out in 2005. I remember going through Payplan but when my husband lost his job I ceased all payments due to lack of money. The date of default is 13/07/2012 and the last payment made was Jan 2012.
  14. Hi Can someone please tell me how to proceed. A company called Fidelite knocked on my door tonight but I wasn't home. He just handed my husband an envelope. The debt is with Cabot and the original creditor is a Barclay loan. Ive made no payments since 2012. What is best to do? Do I set up a payment arrangement with them?
  15. Hi Many Thanks for all the advice. I text my line manager earlier and I have a meeting tomorrow. She has told me she intends on a group meeting tomorrow to make some changes but can't go into detail at the moment. I'll update tomorrow after the meeting Thank you
  16. Because I know what she is like. So far she's been off sick in every month this year which means i'll be left on my own doing 2 peoples work. The theft is my main concern. How do I protect myself when something goes missing? We are responsible for a few hundred students. We have to go into their rooms every day. Even our boss knows stock was disappearing but she just won't confront the situation
  17. Hi I know its Sunday so may be quiet but Im making myself ill just thinking about it. Here goes. Ive worked for my employer for almost 7 years. Our department is made up of what we call permanents and term time workers. Until July I was a permanent but due to the ill health of my husband i changed to term time. In our department 1 permanent and 1 term time work together. As i changed my role I would then swap to a new partner. I was placed with my new partner in July. All happy and no problems. I finished work in August and Im due back tomorrow. On Friday I received a call from my department manager to say that as another working couple weren't getting along (they'd worked together roughly 4 years) the term time lady has refused to work any longer her partner. I understand why she doesn't want to work with her. She's always off sick, gets away with anything and is a thief. This was reported to our department manager last year but she chose to ignore even though there were several witnesses. She still continues to steal but we'd given up reporting her as it was pointless. Ive now been told to keep the other term time lady happy I have to work with her partner and she is getting mine. Im gutted and have cried since Friday. Im not sure where to turn. I don't want to be associated with such a person. I respect my boss a lot but I just can't go back knowing Im the one who now has to be miserable. Our big boss is aware of the friction between the 2 ladies but is not aware of the thefts. If i were to go to her it would cause a lot of trouble for my boss as although she knew of the thefts she didn't do anything or report it to the big boss. Can anyone advise me what to do. Im making myself ill just knowing I'm due back tomorrow.
