  1. Bought reconditioned BLS engine for my Audi A3 in February 2016, received engine after 4 weeks of waiting when 7 days delivery was specified. Since then, my engine has been back in Glasgow with the engine supplier twice and they have sent down parts to my garage twice for the engine. I still have an engine which isn't working, cost me £1100, through findanengineUK (don't use them either as it seems they only get their engines from 1st choice engineering!), they took their £200 for finding the engine for me. I wasn't told it was coming from 1st choice engineering as I tend to read reviews first! Findanengine basically advised me that they have 25 reliable garages all over the UK. My garage labour charges now stand at around £2000 because the faulty engine had to be fitted and taken out 4 times.. I'm out of pocket by £3100.. and left with 09 plate Audi without a working engine. 1st choice have agreed to refund me £900 but refuse to pay the labour costs. I want to take them to a small claims court to get all the costs recovered as I believe these count as consequential loses due to a faulty engine. Consumer advice.. citizens advice.. etc etc have advised me that there is a possibility I wouldn't get labour costs back, specially as they specify like 5 times in their terms and conditions that they do not cover labour charges. I will take this matter to court anyway, it will cost me another £300 but I'm willing to do that. I've got all correspondence and proof that the engine was faulty 4 times in emails to a from 1st choice engineering. After I sent them a letter, I got a call from a so-called new manager who had sacked the bloke (callum) whom I've been dealing with for the past 6 months - that's probably just a lie anyway. Has anyone else dealt with them? Lets get in contact and do something about them! Why do these engine suppliers get away with doing this? Why is there such a big loop hole? Another engine fitter/supplier called 1st choice engines liquidised after many complaints, I can't help but think they may have just re-opened under this new name.. and if google 1st choice engineering, sounds like I'm not the only one they've done this to. Any advice? Any tips?
