Hi I had a car through welcome finance back in 2007. the car went back as nothing that was going wrong with it was covered on the extended warranty. they have been hounding me through Cabot,Lowell, pra group, finally I sent a statute barred letter that I downloaded from the citizens advice website, got a reply this morning, the debt is statute barred and unenforceable and no further action will be taken. but you can only do this if debt is over 6 years and has not gone to the court.
