  1. Hi, I have sent a few requests to Halfiax using the number on the letter they sent me to notify me they are transferring my debt from capquest to wescot It says This is the same response as last time. I am assuming they don't have the details considering I am using the same refrence number they are chasing me under plus they have my address as they have sent me a statement. I also sent an SAR to them which looks like its been forwarded to the customer services.
  2. Just had a letter from capquest saying "thank you for your recent communication we have been advised by our client that they have issues the documentation requested under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 directly to you. Please contact us to confirm that you have received the documentation" I have not had anything other than the letter from Halifax as above. I am sure I am just looking for confirmation that I just need to ignore this.
  3. I have just had a letter from iedm servicing saying that a "solution needs to be agreed in order to pay the outstanding balance" Should I just ignore it?
  4. Thanks - there is a note on my credit file for Nov 2013 Settled DA (I am pretty sure its for this) - can they apply for a default on it?
  5. Just had a letter from Robinson Way for IDEM Servicing (ex HFC Bank) regarding my CCA request. "Idem Servicing have advised they are unable to provide an agreement for this account.. Please note, this account is no longer being serviced by Robinson Way. Please direct any queries to Idem Servicing directly" It now says the amount due is £0.00 - I assume thats just for their internal systems and I do nothing more with this and if I get another letter from some other DCA regarding this I should just send off a CCA request to them?
  6. Letters printed - going to sort out the PO on Monday and send recorded. Thanks for all the help and advice.
  7. Yea - I realised that very late in the day. I am wondering if I knock it down to £1 have they enough to take it further.
  8. Original debt was £3574 Remaining £2037.76 Paid so far £1536.24 I have been paying anywhere from £3 - £15 per month (the payments are a bit erratic on the statement) The documents from Gregory Pennington say I was paying £11.37 per month
  9. yea - it looks like it - they sent me a 4 page statement
  10. Cheers - will do it on Monday. No interest is being charged.
  11. Do I send the SAR to MBNA or to Link as Link have said they have bought the debt on 20th Dec 2007 Current outstanding amount is (according to Link) 2037.76
  12. I have nothing other than the the statement from Link with the payments made by GP. I am assuming then I should continue to make payments as all the paperwork is in order?
  13. Apologies - I have created the file as a PDF - its under 2mb. If any of the pages are not clear let me know. CCA returns .pdf
  14. Its not really linked to anything.. its all come about from ditching Gregory Pennington and seeing what was actually going on. I have been paying this one off with GP since 2008 and have been making payments myself for a few months as I realised I was just paying a fortune in fees for very little gain. Just to add one thing - Just noticed this in the statement Does this mean they have closed the account with them??? it says A Statement of account is as follows NAME REFERENCE BALANCE Date 29/06/2016 The account has been terminated. The "current balance" is the total outstanding balance that is due and payable immediately. PAYMENT OPTIONS
  15. I have had a reply from MBNA/Link to my CCA Its 16 pages long along with a statement of all the payments made (I have had to split it into 2 parts so not to reach the max file size) (I have paid £1500 off the total so far) Its not in my credit file at all I would be grateful if someone could have a look over it and give me their opinion. Thanks
  16. Will post it off tomorrow without the evil word basically Thanks for your help with this
  17. How does this sound? Dear Sir/Madam I am writing with reference to the above account. On 27/05/2016 i sent you a CCA request. You forwarded my request to Halifax. Please see the enclosed copy of their reply. As you have failed the request and are unable to prove any information, I demand ALL my money repaying. as you don't even appear to know what the debt is originally for. I remind you I am still waiting for a response under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (sections 77-79). I will be kind and give you a further 14 days to supply me with the requested docu-mentation. I look forward to hearing from you. I will NOT deal with this matter via the telephone only via post. Yours faithfully
  18. Yes. They just forwarded it to Halifax who sent the letter in post 1. I am pretty sure its a capquest number not a Halifax one.
  19. I stopped paying Gregory Pennington a number of months ago now as I came to that conclusion. I am not going to make another payment to CapQuest and we shall see where we go from there. I did a CCA and the letter from post one is what I received in reply - which I dont know if I should just ignore. Like I said the only thing on my credit file for Halifax is a credit card with a max balance of £1000 Halifax Credit Card 31/12/2010 Settled It also shows as no missed payments.
  20. Tried again to get them to accept £150 This is the email Thank you for our email. Paying anything more than £150 would leave me without any ability to pay for food and other living expenses. You were paid back during the time of the loan a large part the interest plus all monies borrowed as outlined below. I would ask you to reconsider my offer. If you accept please confirm in writing to my postal address (I have updated my details) and we can settle this matter quickly. Date Received Paid 05/07/2013 £395.00 31/07/2013 £118.50 30/08/2013 £197.50 30/09/2013 £10.00 30/09/2013 £81.90 01/10/2013 £50.00 31/10/2013 £217.17 03/12/2013 £50.00 £395.00 £725.07 330.07 Interest F&F 150.00 480.07 Interest and Charges Kind Regards David
