    Strange this, we don't have a BG smart meter yet but have had exactly the same with our EDF electricity smart meter adaptor which was both CE marked and 'Made in China'. I thought the CE Mark was a guarantee that the device complied with all relevant safety requirements so how could these faulty items have got into the distribution chain? Was a false CE Mark illegally applied to them?
