Hi. Lowells have so far sent me 2 cheques (one for £25 and £5) both made out to the wrong account name. I have emailed them now about 5 times telling them the correct name of my bank account. They have now "forwarded this to our Finance Department) on the 14th of Sept. They say that the Vanquis account is being frozen atm I have made no offer of s repayment plan yet. Lowells also want a list of my income and outgoings. They can whistle for that as well tbh. I returned the cheques to Lowell. I think that they have no intention of repaying this money. Cheers.

Hi. Yes this is an old credit card debt. No other debts. Gazea Sorry. Also meant to add that I have stopped all payments. About 2 years ago.............got so hacked off with all the charges. Strangely they (Vanquis) still keep sending me "you have been priority chosen" letters trying to get me to take out a credit card!!!

Thank you for your reply. The Debt is an old Vanquis Bank Account which I do owe the money for, but am reluctant to pay due to the huge interest that has been added. The whole thing came about as Lowell bought the debt off another DCA etc etc. I had overpaid another account and am owed £125 back, Lowell keep saying that they are going to send me this overpayment back. I doubt this as they have so far sent me a cheque for £5 made out in the wrong name so I am not holding my breath for the £125!

Only I receieved this request from Lowell Group via my email.............. To help me further understand how best to assist you with account number ******* going forward I would be grateful if you could provide the following information: 1. A letter from a relevant professional with details of your situation. Examples of a relevant professional include: – Your GP (or the medical practitioner who is treating you) – A social worker who is working with you – A psychologist who is working with you – Any other qualified health or support worker assisting you If you are unable to provide such a letter, we would also be happy to accept copy fitness for work notes (sick notes) or a copy of prescriptions. 2. A completed Income & Expenditure form 3. Consent to record your sensitive data 4. A Letter of authority, if you want a friend, family member or someone else to deal with this account on your behalf It is the part that I have underlined that I am most concerned about................. I have told them that as I am terminally ill and in the Support Group for ESA that I have absolutly no intention of furthering them with my details.
