  1. Old work colleague from across the water has asked for some advice. Seems he has an N1 claim form dated 20th November for £1900 from Lowell ref Aqua Card Told him to go online and state defending in full to put the brakes on this Been a few years since i did this for myself and all changed since the Judge Waksman cases, so before I offer some advice Is the CPR 31.14 still relevant Can Lowell claim statutory interest on the claim form of 8% from date of assignment And finally, due to the nature of his employment the best way to go about securing a Tomlin Order rather than costs mount up delaying the inevetible and judgement secured
  2. Do the have to belong to a recognised trade body such as the BPA before they can demand any payment? The sign is lacking that information
  3. Friend of mine has got himself a ticket from a company called parking agency.co.uk Do these signs have to have minimum terms on them such as belonging to a trade body such as BPA etc to be enforceable?

  6. The time sheets are sent electronically. Fair enough the contract employer did frack up sending to the wrong email address but Manpower have had that correct electronic time sheet since Wednesday. Am more annoyed to be honest promised a Chaps payment at 65% today then nothing. You would think an established company such as Manpower would treat their staff better. Where would i be if i did not have that Credit Card? No worries start my new job on 13/11/2017 and will have to hit the credit card until receive two sets of wages next Friday
  7. Having been made redundant and accepting the settlement secured another position with another company. The only problem being the start date was 12 weeks. Start this new position on the 13/11/2017. Until then registered with an employment agency as a temporary measure. That company being Manpower Checked the online payslips and shocked that no wages. It turns out this multi national company that has the contract with Manpower emailed my time sheet using an alternative email address by mistake Manpower first of all tried the usual excuses that payroll had a cut off etc and will get it back next week etc. it was decided a Chaps payment will be sent today. Looks like another excuse as no payment has been credited My question is that my contract is with Manpower, it is them that pay me and have the statutory obligation to pay my accrued hours being in possession of my time sheet on Wednesday, be it late. Any thoughts on this as it is disgusting they expect me to last a week with no wages

  10. Just to bring this thread to a close Yes it is Northern Ireland and agreed the two week extension. Cheque received from the solicitors the morning in full and final settlement via a consent order Why does it always take legal means to get redress when talking about a statutory right. How many man hours have been wasted just because the employer could not care less?

A community punishment order will have become spent under the rehabilitation of offenders act So technically he can put no as to any previous convictions being that conviction is spent under UK Law Not saying this is correct but an interesting question as the yanks do not have access to the CRB in the UK to confirm any previous convictions
  13. To be fair have dealt with this solicitor on three previous occasions, all to my benefit. She knows when to convince them to settle with a consent order. This will be no different. Am showing her respect for our past communications
  14. That is exactly my thinking on the matter. Quickest way to get the consent order signed and for them to send a cheque. Nothing stopping them just submitting a holding defence otherwise Mant thanks, always best to get the opinions of others for objectivity
  15. No downside in waiting two weeks. This has been going on for three months. Grievance procedure exhausted now the sols have had 28 days to deal with this and nothing The claim is a slam dunk win if they do not settle via a consent order
  16. To be brief Chap had to leave due to ill health and employer failed to pay outstanding holiday entitlement Stage 1, 2 and 3 of the grievance procedure exhausted. Contacted HR who sent email to line manager to sort it, and nothing. Requests for total outstanding entitlement (Leave Card) ignored Tribunal claim submitted. Respondent has 28 days to respond. Day before deadline (Today) solicitors send email to tribunal and myself as representative requesting a two week extension under rule 4(5) Industrial Tribunals rules and procedures 2005 My own thoughts are to send the sols and tribunal a rebuttal this evening objecting to the application. That being on the grounds they have had plenty of time from the start of the grievance procedure and the 28 days the sols have had it They are only asking for a two week extension, am i being unreasonable in requesting judgement in default?
  17. Took your advice but sent my request via email to customer servces. Walked into my local 3 shop and got a PAYG Sim card. Emailed that sim card number and asked 3 to make that sim my contract number and my current contracted sim mumber PAYG Agreed and all done within four hours Many thanks for the advice as technically 3 mobile were suffering no loss

  19. Please read what is stated 3 Mobile will not be losing out as all that is required is a new number be allocated to the existing contract All that is required is my current number be downgraded to PAYG
  20. Have about eight monhs left on my 3 mobile phone contract Is it possible to downgrade my current IN CONTRACT number to PAYG and allocate a new phone number to my contract?? Talking to Three they are saying you cannot do that while stil in contract No talking about ending my current contract, just requesting a different telephone number to the esisting agreement

It is not uncommon old electoral register information is used. People still receive charity letters say from a cancer charity after their partner has previously past away with that condition. You need to register with the Mail Preference service to limit this sort of business practice
