I vt'd my car last month, it's with northridge and I was over halfway through so thought all was good. When I notified them they sent a letter saying when G3 collect the car and examine it if I was to pay any damages then I should do so within ten days. It then states if I want to repair the damage myself then it would result in a delay in terminating my agreement. This was a month ago. I have today received a letter saying that the car had been sold at public auction and that I owe them 400 quid. They have included a report and pictures of damage which is a couple of chips, a scratch on the rear and small crack, and a scuff at the front. The cars 6 years old now. They have said its been sold so I am wondering why I haven't been offered the chance to have it repaired myself? What will I say when I phone them? 'You never told me what damage was there and I wasn't told about this before auction so I couldn't exactly repair it myself and now I am being billed, that's not correct' Any help is appreciated and sorry for the vague post this is from an iPhone sorry.
