  1. No I only have the offer letter as detailed above. It's not far from the 28 days now, was expecting payment any day now. Looks like I'll just accept whatever comes as there is time to SAR now
  2. If I submit a SAR to MBNA now will that delay the agreed payment? Or I if I receive the payment will it be too late to review the calculation? The detail they provided in the letter was as follows Total amount of PPI premiums + interest charged since sale date: £1,732.23 Applicable 8% gross interest: £1,004.12 Less UK holding tax: -£200.82 Less successful claim amount: -£0.00 Total amount payable: £2,535.53 Does this look right? Cheers, Blue
  3. Hi All, First post on this forum. Recently received a letter from MBNA stating a previous credit account was in a group of accounts which may have been mi-sold PPI. They included a questionnaire to be returned. I sent this back and and within 4 weeks got a letter back saying my claim was upheld and they are paying back fee plus 8% simple interest. Total £2,535 - what a shock!! This has given me an incentive to check through my other credit accounts from 1999 to date where I had I previously discounted entitlement to any PPI due to age of accounts and lack of account info. I have had a range of credit cards, loans, mortgages and store cards during this period but unfortunately was also on best terms with my shredder so didn't retain any account details or statements. I figure the best plan of action is to SAR every company starting with TSB who I have been with since age 17 and held multiple credit agreements with in that period. Been reading this forum extensively but would appreciate any advice you guys could provide me to assist with this. All a bit overwhelming!
