Hi All, First post here and im hoping you can all help as im a little rattled. I've been back to my parents this weekend and they've handed me a letter from Mortimer Clarke working on behalf of Cabot on behalf of welcome. There's been a CCJ against me for approx £510, and my month to settle it period runs out on the 19th. The address they have been using is my parents that i haven't lived at for over 2 years (although i do have banking etc registered there) What should i do with this? I've read a lot about excessive PPI etc from welcome so should my first port of call be writing to them about this? I know im not going to be able to pay in full before the deadline, and i have suspicions that the debt may have been statute barred prior to the CCJ. Should i offer to set up a payment plan with Mortimer Clarke or would that be seen as accepting the debt? Apologies for my general ignorance on this and my slightly rambling post. Dave
