  1. Ok mate thanks, will do, is it definitely to SPML and not Acenden?
  2. Hi i haven't got any of the old statements or the arrears fees letters etc, to be honest i was having problems with an ex and disposed of the letters at the time. That's why i tried to logon to the acenden portal to see if i could get the old statements. Cheers
  3. Hi, i'm after a little advice please, took a loan out in 2005 with Acenden/SPML/Capstone or whatever they were called, loan should have finished Sept 2015 but i still had £4000 in arrears and charges, don't get me wrong i did miss payments in 2008/09 ish and had a court letter etc. sorted it all out at that time and never missed a payment since. Probably got my first letter eary 2015 stating i was going to have arrears, apparently they sent me a letter in 2011 saying i need to increase my monthly payments to ensure i caught up before the loan expired, i never received a letter!! started paying £100 a month on top of my payment to try and clear, when i rung up in the summer they agreed to extend my loan for 12 months and it will now be complete Sept 2016, to be honest i've thought about checking out the charges but was a little worried to raise a complaint until id finished paying the loan, was planning to raise a complaint later this year. What has got me posting on here is that ive recieved another letter saying i will be in arrears again. i rung up the woman said my account was over £1000 in credit so she was not sure why i recieved this letter but she would need to check with another department and someone will ring me back, this is over 2 weeks now. I've rung up 3 times since and keep getting fobbed of saying they'll have to get another department to ring me back. I've tried to register on line but the automated e-mail said it could take 48hrs but that was over a week ago, i try to login but it says my account is in inactive?? Could someone please advise how i found out how much charges have been applied to my account and if i can challenge them, or if i've left it to late, or if i should wait until i've paid my loan off. All i keep thinking is thank god its done this year, but at the same time i am wondering were the £4000 has come from?? Thanks for your help
  4. I'm having similar problems, could you please let me know how i would get a summary of the charges added to my account, i've tried logging into their website but they will not activate my account. I've received a letter stating i'm in arrears but when i ring up they say my account is in credit and they will get someone to ring me back, but never do!!!
  5. Hi, Could you tell me how the shortfall has ended/if ended or whereabouts you are with it, as i have just received a letter, stating in 10 months time my loan will be up but i can work out there will be a shortfall? I similarly got in arrears about 5 ors ago, but thought i had cleared the arrears and then have kept up with the payments, they told me that i should have contacted them 3 yrs ago to increase my monthly payments but have never received a letter telling me that and have not be requested to since? I'm starting to get a little worried now after googling the company and reading a few of the horror stories. Thanks
