have just been reading through some other bayv/bright house threads and emailed their company CEO. I did need insurance or was led to believe that I did due to not having house insurance. wish I'd never bothered with buy as you view, was stupid to go there in the first place. also, I never thought of the sales of goods act as I was told when applying for it that if I didn't take all sorted and it broke I wouldn't get a replaceme , chose not to have it thinking it will be fine as its brand new. thanks for the reply.

Hey guys, i really dont know what to do here. Let me start off by saying i've read a lot of posts from customers of BAYV, nothing good about them at all. I took out a tv with bayv around 3/4 years back and was Doing fine with payments. 6 months later they called me Saying i could have another item, i thought "yeah why not Im managing fine with the payments" so i did, they merged My old tv with the surround sound agreement i had to stretch out the payments to 156 weeks with the tv instead of 52 weeks. I was happy with this but i added a few more things since then and this june i made the worst mistake, Getting an xbox one when i was called and again asked if I wanted anything else. I was stupid to go with them in the first place but a month ago the xbox one overheated or something else went wrong. I had insurance with them but Didnt take out there replacement cover so threw it away. Now, due to change in financial circumstances i cant afford to make the £31 a week payment that i was before dont know what to do, i cant tell them to come and take the goods back if items are not there, i have a bike and the initial tv i got from them. If i tell them to fetch the items that i have left back will they send the remaining goods value to a debt collection agency? Im more than happy for them to take everything i still have from them back, despite paying around £2000 for the goods to date, double the cost of the items ive had. i just want rid of the company, for the remaining balance id be happy to set up a payment plan with whatever debt collection company they use. Is there anyone that can talk me through my options in these circumstances? I only read my agreement through properly last week, i didnt realise before that i needed to be in possession of the items for the duration of the agreement. Guess you really do need to read the small print. Im still pretty young and guess i didn't know what i was getting myself into. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
