  1. Hi, This account is a argos store card account which I opened 14/9/2005. The account history was impeccable until I first missed a payment due March 2010. This was the only payment I did miss and this account was back up to date in July 2010. I then had a bit of financial difficulty (husband lost his job), missing 2 payments around September/October 2010. I spoke to 'Home Retail Group' who were understanding of my situation. However in January 2011 I realised that 'Home Retail Group' had defaulted my account even though I had paid them what was agreed to bring my account up to date. I carried on my payments, never missing one, until the account was paid off in full in April 2012. I didn’t received a default notice or any communications from Argos about a default. There was no PPI on the account and i was charged a couple of £12 late payment fees. I can only put my hands on one of the last statements, dated Oct 2010. I have just called Them again and they definitely don't have my account on their system anymore. I was told to write to an address in 'thynne street, bolton'
  2. Hi, Just wondered where I stand with a default from Home Retail Group (Argos card). I missed 2 payments in August 2010 and they registered a default in November 2010. I paid the debt of fully in May 2012. That is when Home retail group stopped reporting my account to the CRA. I called them last week about removing the default or account from the CRA's but they have no details of my account on their systems. I looked into this a little and believe that Home Retail Group updated their systems in 2013 and may have deleted my account as it was satisfied. Would this give me a case to call/write to them to get them to remove my default? As I think they have no info on it? Kind Regards
