  1. Well, just to offer a defence rather than an argument, I'm not the one who today brought my name into it, directly accusing me of being a troll. If the mods want to move it they will, if they don't they won't. No big deal.
  2. I can't believe what you're saying here! What a nasty viewpoint you have. Sorry if I only asked a question (that no-one ever did give a proper reply to). Jesus.
  3. Why am I being called a troll? Because I simply asked why this subject is tucked away exclusively in the 'bailiff' section (which may be missed by many) rather than in a general discussion thread? What an awful manner to take.
  4. Oh I see what you mean. Duh. Lol. I came up with that name when the sign-up page asked for a username and on the table next to me was a can of Lynx deodorant and a toilet roll! Oh well.
  5. I just don't get why 'trolling' is a bailiff problem, unless there are bailiffs on here doing the trolling. The thread needs to be moved to some sort of 'current affairs' or general section, IMO.
  6. I would've thought that if no levy or control has been made, you are free to do what you want with your possessions.
  7. The problems will occur when some people try to abuse the law, complaining about jokes or wind-ups rather than the intention of serious online abuse. There will be many who will want the police to investigate when someone has 'hurt their feelings', a conversation I have seen on another forum.
  8. What has any of this got to do with bailiffs? Wrong section if you ask me. Wrong forum even.
  9. Makes you wonder why they don't want you to know what the actual original debt is. I can think of 2 reasons; 1 - so they can add ghost fees; or 2 - so you don't know how much to pay direct to the creditor for fear of losing their fees.
  10. I was just going by the OP mentioning the court. If a court fines you, you're looking at a £500+ figure. Re-reading it though, the OP doesn't say it's a court fine, just a fine being enforced, so it could just be a DVLA fine. Perhaps the OP could clarify.
