  1. Had a call from the Brendan the store manager in cribs causway,Bristol who is very nice chap and could not have been any nicer if he had tried. Pretty much offered me my own solution, I could either cancel the 4 year interest free credit, or keep it and choose something else and to just let him know what I would like to do. I Arranged for the furniture to be collected and decided we would keep the credit in place for the time being. We went to the store and found everyone extremely pleasant which was surprising as I thought everyone would be pushy like when you walk into a mobile phone shop. We decided on an extremely what we would call expensive furniture which was £2100 and asked for Brendan the store manager. After a good 5 minutes about our original furniture and how the leather was made treated etc etc We explained we wanted to expand the finance we had in place to pay for the furniture we were sat on, and Brendan leaped and said "let me see if I can take any more of this for you" it was already half price and we went for the package deal which had already knocked off £300 so if another £50 off would have been great. 5 minutes later Brendan came back and said he could do it for £1699 which was beyond anything I was thinking off. If I had the room would have bought it twice lol. Should be delivered end of next week. All in all I got a extremely good deal and some fantastic customer service and would go as far to say the best customer service I have had in my entire life not just from Brendan and the staff in the store but also from the @dfs Twitter team.
  2. please tell me I can refuse both sofas as there not a matching pair or being the same colour and quality.
  3. Dfs engineer came and said the arms needed to be puffed up. I disagreed and said its brand new. And then he said he could spray it with laquer so it would be the same colour as the other one. I told him it was not fit for purpose. And that they need to take it back. I want two sofas the same colour and the same leather. He agreed there was a colour variations and said he had to be honest in his report. And that he will be saying that there is nothing wrong with it that can't be fixed. Also he puffed the arms right up for his photos and also took his photos with the light on.
  4. The wife bought 2 sofas exactly the same online 4 years intrest free from dfs. Both sofas delivered on Tuesday afternoon. One is fine and looks the part, the other one although the same style is a different colour and both of the arms are lacking foam. In my opinion not fit for purpose. I rang the store that delivered them and told them I was not happy and they could come back and collect it and replace or refund. They wanted to send an engineer next Thursday but after raising my voice and getting angry on the phone she quickly said today. I do not want it repaired. Where do I stand as I thought bought 2 items of the same colour and style but clearly not as there different leathers and colours.
