  2. Crossed posts. After looking at Google Street View I can now see the sign. Not once noticed it in the years I've lived here. Would you say it's obscured as it's so far back? I'm willing to bet many others don't see it either.
  3. Oh my lord you are joking. I've only just seen the sign for the "no return within 1 hour" for the first time on Street View. I've not once since living here seen that sign (I'm further up Hilderthorpe road, opposite Naked Fish restaurant next to Tasty Garden chinese take away).
  4. The issue I have is that there's nowhere to write to other than the head office, of which they don't give me the telephone number or physical address where to write to for parking enforcement for the ERYC. The council have repeatedly told me that they can't do anything as it's in the hands of the bailiffs now. I've sat at the town hall countless times over this and had the same response.
  5. Hi Jamberson, Thanks for the help, really appreciated.
  6. Resident bays aren't marked as resident bays, anywhere in the town. Bays are just zoned, the only difference between them are the ones marked as "Loading Only" "Taxi" or "Disabled", any other zone is as far as myself and other motorists in the town are aware free to park in for 1 hour without the display of a permit, or longer with.
  7. The first payment was made to Lowell, and the company now chasing the same debt is Rundles.
  8. Ok thanks RayKay, so in this case for council issued penalty notices, the no-contract method isn't worth the time of day?
  9. So unless invited into the property, or unless they gain peaceful entry into the property on a previous occasion, they're not legally allowed to enter to place a levy on/extract goods and items?
  10. Thanks for the advice in regards to bailiffs. As far as I know I have no outstanding legitimate debt to any enforcement authority so letting them in isn't going to happen any time soon. Are there procedures that I can follow if my car does get clamped, that will relieve it of the clamp the same day, or will I have to go through a process to prove that these so called debts have been paid. The issue I'm having with bailiffs is that they're trying to enforce something from a different company. I.e. I paid company A, now company B are chasing me for the same supposed debt. Thanks for your time and help in advance, really appreciated.
  11. Just advice on whether the whole "no contract" method is legitimate or not. Also it'd be nice to have the knowledge as to whether bailiffs can enter your property without your presence to remove goods. Thanks in advance.
  12. Yep that's correct, however it's not just happening to me. I was parked outside my house, on a public street in zoned parking, without displaying a visitors or residents permit, for 40 minutes longer than the permitted hour.
  13. That's a totally separate matter relating to previous disputes. Those are now being taken care of. The bailiff issue stems from me previously allowing these fines to go into the hands of enforcement officers, then me having paid the enforcement officers, them still chasing the supposed debt.
  14. Thanks for the response Michael. I've had two in the last 6 months. One of which I have paid, and the other of which I have sent back to see what return I get from the "No Contract - Return to Sender" method.
