  1. Reply from the prelim letter came in .......... offering 700. I was up for the scrap but it is the girfriends account and her decision.....took the money and ran for the hills. Still .......... 700 for a letter and basic maths!!!! Since the letter we know of at least 10 more people gunning for the cash! Good luck to all.
  2. Hey! Well, as expected the prelim letter was ignored totally. I have the next one almost ready but was wondering about leaving the blue paragraph in? Anyone have some advise? Is it easy to make this complaint? Will HSBC be more or less helpful with this included? Thanks for info, still keen, mean and ready to get the cash back!!
  3. Claim all worked out £750 + interest and sent. Checked recorded deivery and they had it on the 28th June. I'm looking forward to it but the girlfriend is very nervous!!! Finger crossed! Thanks for the info, spreading the word.
  4. Hello! Forgive any bad etiquette this is my first time! When filing in the spreadsheet column for interest charged, do I include the interest charged ONLY on months when bank charges are made? There was one amazing year in six when they did not charge any bank charges (but they did interest!). Do I leave this period of interest charged out of the spreadsheet? Secondly do I put the balance down at the point of interest being charge (27th of each month) or the end of each month? Thanks again, Trigger.
