No, he did not sign any new contract or verbally agree to any repayment plan.
All he received was a letter from Monument advising that they were now part of Barclays
and that the card was cancelled and that repayment was still due.
Since then he has been receiving what appears to be regular credit card bills (attached) from Monument.
The first we heard of CompuCredit having been managing the account was in the letter from Capquest (attached).

what also really angers me about this is that these companies seem to do what they like:
he has struggled to pay and yet has never been late or missed a payment but ultimately is now being passed to a dca!
