  1. Sorry to hijack this post I have sent a cca to lowell in the past but had no correspondence at all just more threat letters. could this be coz I sent to the po box address and would the address u given here act as a address to send another cca letter to?
  2. Help I need advice. I previously had a basic nat west account with no overdraft facility. I ran into some financial difficulties and had a couple of charges due to returned item fees which I accepted and payed then I stopped paying all my direct debits via direct debits and payed via card transaction on my partners account. However I seem to have kept getting charged extra on top of the charges (hope that makes sence) my account seems to have raised to £593.97p of what they call bank charges. I have now received a letter from Apex credit management stating that they are now acting as a collection agent for nat west. is there anything I can do to help myself with this as its not a arranged credit overdraft and the ammount seems high and unfair for bank charges. thanks
  3. Hi I sent a letter which you advised me to however I havnt received what i asked for back I however have received another letter offering me a reduced settlement fee been reduced by around £300 - £400 Any suggestions on where I go from here as with the offer of reduced settlement it says to me they cant enforce it.
  4. Thanks for the advice. Having read numerous posts on here am I right in thinking that they possibly wont be able to provide one as I never physically signed a contract was just registered online and started shopping with credit instantly.
  5. It was about 14 months ago I last made payment. I stopped payment as I lost my job and couldnt afford the payments, I did notify littlewoods about this by email and requested if there was a way of setting up a plan and if I could have some payment slips sent to me so could pay in a post office as was having bank issues due to lost my job. I never received any nor a reply to my email. I did have a letter from littlewoods stating my account was overdue but then I started having letters from lowell stating they had now been instructed by littlewoods to recover the debt.
  6. Not yet what is it credit agreement? I haven't got a clue with all this debt stuff but I think that I need advice on how to handle it
  7. Hi dnt know if posted this in the right place. I have been receiving letters from lowell for a debt I owe to litlewoods to the sum of £1170.32p this has been going on for about 15 months. I have now received a letter from hamptons legal stating they are the litigation department for lowell and they have been instructed to assess the account for litigation. They claim to have a copy of my credit file. It also states that when they have assessed it they will be in a position to commence with either litigation or instruct a home visit agent to discuss repayment. litigation could lead to charging order against propert (I dnt own a property) Attachment of earnings (currently unemployed) Court bailiff to remove goods can I have some info as how to follow this up or should I just keep ignoring as I have never contacted lowell or anyone confirming its my debt. thanks
