hi can someone help i have 4 sons ages 16 18 19 21 all at some point i have claimed for i have got a letter saying its tax credits check examination and there asking for me to send infomation that shows child x and y are in school/college etc and the letter must show date course started, type of qualiifction to be acheived and what sort of course it is letter said i have to send within time limit or get a penalty and money stopped is it normal to get sent one of these letters? thats the only info they asked for letter from school/college showing there in full time non advanced eduaction said have to send original not copies and will send back all letters once checked so do i just ring up college and asked them to print me a letter saying they are there? letter also said if they beleive letter fake they will keep it this sounds strange do they really do random checks? can my name really have just been selected? ive done nothing wrong i wanted to ask as they say they send you the documents back, do they make copies of all documents people send? do they scan them etc? just wondered thats all thanks

hi yes my son wants to return to college in seot to do another course that will lead to a uni place either nvq3 business studies or pyschology in sept he will be 18 and 7 months then so would he be entitled to tax credits? and wuld he have to do 1 or 2 years? when would the tax credits start and end?

hi all can you help my brother has his halifax debt with bos and has been paying 1 pound a month to them for over 3 years he owes £15k and been paying rbs 1 pound month for 6 months he owes £1800 he is out of work and on benefits he hasnt a hope in hell of ever paying it off he is in council accomodation he is scared to look at his credit score he had missed 1 payment from each before he went to cab and they suggested he offered 1 a month so he s been paying that amount ever since he struggles with fms and depression and cannt found another job i want to know if these debt s would ever be wrote off? as he could never pay it off and will his credit score be bad? will they continue to accept 1 month amounts forever? regards bill

hi all question please i want to know if someone fails their a levels, can they resit them again in sept at college? do they have to do 1 year or 2 again? or a different course and aged 18 can they still claim tax credits? i thought tax credits was paid up to 20th birthday even if cb stopped i heard re sits are not free? is that true? if so, would he still be entitled to tax credits? i thought tc was given because of low income so can you re take exams or do another course at aged 18 either 1 or 2 years free of charge and stll get the tc with a view of uni after qualified im confused thanks
