  1. Yes, it's just the balance that I owed. I don't think there are any charges being applied to it.
  2. It's not very much really, it was £337 and I've paid £100 off. I'd arranged to pay £20 a week but stupidly missed one at Christmas, hence their letter. I'm ashamed to admit that it was a payday loan last year.
  3. Thanks for your replies and the welcome! I certainly haven't given them authority to deal with anyone else!
  4. Hi, I'm new to this site so apologise if I'm posting in the wrong place. PRA UK sent me a letter about a debt in my sole name that they are dealing with, I am paying it off weekly. My husband opened the letter and called them, not only did they confirm that they were collecting the debt, they told him what the outstanding balance is. Surely this is not allowed? I want to write a letter of complaint, but I really don't know where to start. I don't want to sound like I don't know what I'm talking about but I've been trawling the web for ages and I can't find anything that specifically relates to this. Can anyone help me? Please?
