  1. Let's hope so! I will let you know the outcome. Thank you very much for your help.
  2. My bank have only temporarily refunded it while they investigate the company. If the company prove they satisfy Visa regulations, which they claim to do so, then my bank will remove the money from my bank account within 3 months. The company said that they do meet all the visa requirements, which means they must have found a loop hole that leaves the Banks with no way of claiming the money back on my behalf. I am now just waiting for my bank to send me a letter claiming Lift and Glow are within their rights and that they have taken the money back out of my account. I just wondered if anyone has been successful in having visa debit claim the money back for them.
  3. I have been charged £180 last week for the Lift and Glow Pro (which I did not receive). My bank has credited my bank account while it investigates, I paid by visa debit. I managed to at last get hold of Lift and Glow yesterday and advised them that I had not received the product and had been charged £180. They said that if I had not received the product within the 14 days I should have contacted them, as I did not, then I did not meet the terms and conditions agreement to cancel. Lift and Glow sent me an email saying their company operates within trading regulations approved by Visa, Mastercard and governmental trade organisations. Can I take this up with the small claims court? Can anyone advise if I have any chance of getting my money back. Im so upset by this.
  4. My daughter who is 15, saw an advert on facebook for a product called Lift and Glow which claims to be an amazing moisturiser. They were offering a trial size of two products for £1.99. She was buying this for me for Christmas and used my bank card as she is too young to own a bank card of her own. I did not mind as she said it was only for a small amount. The item has not yet arrived and to be honest I do not expect it too, even though the £1.99 was taken from my account. Looking through my January statement, I have noticed that they have taken two further payments of £89.99. It is so very upsetting to see and my daughter is devastated. She innocently was buying something for Christmas for me and has now got us into a real mess. She is currently studying for her GCSEs and the effect this is having on her is not good. Obviously I do not expect to receive the item and I have spoken to my bank who have temporarily returned the money into my account but have advised me that they have every right to deduct the money within the next two months. What can I do? I have tried contacting the company but they are not answering their phones, it keeps going onto answerphone and offers an email address, which I have not had a reply from. I think that my bank, Nationwide, will remove the money back out of my account. They have put a hold on my account so Lift and Glow can not take any further payments out. Can anyone help me? I cannot get through to speak to anyone.
