  1. I took out an IVA in 2006 paid on time did everything correctly but then my circumstances changed so I had to pay a reduced amount resulting in my final payment in September 2012. A final meeting with my creditors was called and it was agreed in Jan 2013 that my IVA was complete and my certificate of completion would arrive ASAP. It still hasn't come and I have been receiving what I thought were adverts asking if I had PPI and would I like the IVA's firm of solicitors to look into it for me. I ignored the letters as I thought they were advertisements. Now I have had a letter saying my IVA company have called a meeting with my creditors to extend my IVA by up to a year to claim back the PPI I don't want this as I want to start building up my credit score to get a mortgage and I can't understand how the IVA company will take the money off the companies I owed to and then give it back to them. Can they do this? I just want rid of the IVA now. I've done everything I had to and can't see how what they are doing is legal.
