  1. Hi there sorry I have not been on to keep everyone updated on this matter but unfortunately after doing everything and contacting everyone recommended to me above things got worse. The constant threats would not stop not only were they threatening someone to go to her house they also said this person would be taking photographs and assessing her lifestyle! I made them aware of everyone I reported them to to be told the OFT guidelines on door step collection does not apply to them. So after everything and becoming ill with stress myself my daughter has moved out the flat and back in with us! Her mobile number has been changed also! But the emails are still continuing but at least they come to me. I'm just to ill at the moment to deal with it anymore and my husband works long hours. I thought after contacting trading standards and the oft on numerous occasions and making them aware of this would stop things but it never and things just became to much for me. Thanks again for all the advice above but this company just doesn't seem to care.

  3. I will phone them as soon as I can! I have to wait on my husband coming in so I can use his mobile my landline is incoming calls only I have tried to use my daughters mobile but its not ringing out and she is still asleep it may need topped up I'm not sure how to check the balance! I have emailed wonga! And waiting to hear back from them!
  4. They have now text her which has got through to her mobile from another number 07860030636 once again saying they have arranged a home visit! I hope wonga gets back to me soon or I will need to change her mobile number! I really feel so sorry for anyone having to deal with this company alone! My daughter jumps when the post man knocks at the door imagine getting texts/emails saying someone she has never met is coming to the house! It makes me mad! What is a brigs letter sorry?
  5. That's the thing Homer at the moment I am not sure about anything! I'm waiting to hear back from Wonga now, Also one thing I have noticed is they are not using her proper name! As in her full name which is the name she always uses the name that is on her bank account ect! I actually have no idea whats going on! She's asleep just now as her medication is sedating but both me and her father are going to have to try speak to her later again! We just need to try and approach this correctly :/
  6. Thanks for your reply unclebulgaria! I shall phone them today, I did contact wonga a while back to try and find out about the loan they claim she has taken out! As I can not understand how on earth she would be given a payday loan and what it would be for! She doesn't go out or anything both myself and her father would provide her with anything she needed! She also suffers from black outs/memory loss so it is very difficult especially if it is going back a few years ago! I've been through all her letters she has like bills, Council letters, dwp letters going back 3 years ago and I can not find anything from wonga! So hopefully they will provide me the answers because if I keep asking my daughter i'm worried how she will react as she can completely break down or harm herself or lash out! Its all very difficult she has a number of mental issues and there is absolutely no way she could handle the likes of this company! Thanks again

Hi everyone I really need some advice please bear with me as this may be long, My daughter has serious mental health issues she has never been in employment due to this and needs round the clock care! About a year ago the phone started constantly going I can not remember the company but they were collecting on behalf of Wonga! I told them to write all details to me as I couldn't get anything from My daughter about this! I also contacted wonga asking what this was about and why they are claiming to have loaned nearly £1000 to someone who has no income other than disability benefits and to try find out as much information as possible but have never received any reply! Everything went quiet and to be honest I forgot all about it until last week I found my daughter screaming down the phone in tears I took the phone and went into her call log and found 48 calls/ 9 texts from the company motor mile this was in the space of 4 days They had called her 10 times within 2 hours!!! I was absolutely furious so I emailed them to make a complaint telling them never to call her and to keep everything in writing! the next day they emailed me which I found quite threatening and I am so glad it never went to my daughter It said we are contacting you about a loan you had with Wonga we are now waiting on you phoning us to arrange a doorstep collection or we will make our own arrangements if you do not want this we recommend you pay us a lump sum today if we do not hear from you we will send someone to your home!! I replied telling them they have no rights to send anyone to my daughters home and to my horror they have just send me another email stating home appointment and they have said they have made an appointment and someone will be going to her home!! Please please tell me how I can stop this! I haven't told me daughter someone is going to the house yet as she would get in a complete state! I am going to bring her to stay with me for a few days and maybe speak to her support worker about this! I have kept a log of all calls made to her and texts and the emails! I have also set up her mobile only to accept calls from family/friends and her support worker etc! Any advice would be greatly appreciated I apologise for any spelling mistakes ect I hope you can understand what I am asking! Thankyou
