I'm a Newbie, I had a nervous breakdown last year due to a custody battle with my Ex husband. I worked until Sept 2012, but had to leave my employment for my own sanity! I was rightly placed on ESA. The custody battle ended in April this year, in my favour, but I continued to need medication and remained on ESA. In June I attended an interview and heard nothing until Nov 5th. I had continued to supply 'sick notes' to benefits office on a monthly basis. My Doctor wanted to regularly review my well being. On 5th Nov a decision was made I no longer hit the criteria for ESA, so I have now claimed for JSA. I think this will be good for me, I am starting to feel ready for the outside world. My claim was granted from 8th Nov, I am visiting my advisor for the first time Thurs 21st Nov. when do I receive my first payment? I can't find any information anywhere? Thanks for your time x:-D
