If you have made the misfortune of sending your phone to Cash4phones and they have told you they aren't going to pay you what you have been quoted don't bother calling they are just making money out of you and winding you up keeping you on hold listening to an annoying message on a loop. Don't bother writing it just strings it out, winds you up and not them. This is a classic example of someone hiding behind a P.C/phone thinking that they will not have to deal with any confrontation. Well what I did after reading what someone else had done was went to get my phone back in person. Some might say that the pen is mightier than the sword but if you want to sort it out quick get in your car and got to their building if it makes you feel better take someone with you, take id just in case. Go to 15 Gatway Mews, Ring Way, London, N11 2UT. The Mews is gated but always opening so you can get in easily, I buzzed the door and was let into the building which is a warehouse and office I walked upstairs and into the office where 15 mostly men were sat at desks. Some looked up and when they saw me looked back down sheepishly. When someone acknowledged me I announced that I had come to retrieve my phone. I was asked to wait in the kitchen????? for a few mins then a very nice, very young girl was sent to deal with me ,the cowards. I told her I hadn't come to cause any trouble I just wanted my phone back inthe condition I had sent it in as I wasn't happy with the reduced offer they had sent me. I asked her if many people show up like me "No"she replied. I got my phone back checked the condition and the IMEI thanked her and told her that I hoped she found a better job soon and left a bit stunned at what had happened having gone through all kinds of scenario's in my head. I had emailed the day before telling them I had footage of my phones condition before I sent it but the surprise of my visit seemed to of payed off. I would like to say that people do tend to complain more that praise and whilst in their kitchen I saw a pile of cheques waiting to be sent out. I was prepared to call the police had I of met any resistance in getting my property back as I was pretty sure my phone was there and believe me yours will be. Good luck and remember to keep your cool this will give you the upper hand and in any case you will probably be delt with by a very nice young girl.
