My charge is from 09/06/2013 and now I've received a "demand for payment" from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. I parked in some place in England but actually bought something with cash but lost the receipt and then got the parking charges over the next months. I ignored them all but am unsure now if I should start appealing as I feel I am in my right. I live in Scotland and brought one of the letters to my local police station where they told me to ignore them until I get an official letter from a Scottish court. Is this the correct recommendation and thing to do? The letter says that if I don't pay £150 by the 15th they will forward the case to their solicitors who will try to take me to court. Thank you for any advice.
