Well, I was declared bankrupt in 2011 (discharged after 6 months) and joined the co-operative as they were the only ones that would have me. I was then ill (cancer treatments, all clear now!), and was late putting cash in, resulting in several failed direct debits. I thought they would just accept the money that they took in charges but instead they closed my account. No real problem as we run things through my wifes account without any further problems, however...I started another business and needed a business account to do some direct debits, standing orders and for customers to pay me via bank transfer, so I have decided on Cashplus Business. I have received my card and will report back in a month to let you all know how it's working out.
