  1. Trouble is the council say it is OK to work 8am - 6pm in the week, 8am - 1pm Saturdays not bank holidays nor Sundays. Our block's rules are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday They still broke the council's rules by working bank holidays and a Saturday after 1pm
  2. Thank you for your replies to my issues
  3. Thank you for your reply The joins at the frame and brickwork leak in the wind and rain It has ruined the paintwork and has mould Bournemouth Glass and Glazing/Coastal are the companies who did the installation They are happy to come back and keep trying but it is now 2 years since the beginning and 6 months since the replacements were fitted They were recommended by people in the block as well
  4. Thank you for your reply We don't want the tiles ripped up, so want a refund He offered the cost of the fitting but not the cost of the element the tilers broke
  5. He is foreign and doesn't understand English
  6. Thank you Unfortunately, the owner isn't on top of what goes on with the builders They were meant to keep us informed but they keep changing it How do you go about a getting court injunction?
  7. We live in a block of flats that have rules stating work to be done between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday only. No work is permitted during bank holidays either. We have had to endure out of hours, weekend and bank holiday work for non emergency work for months. When we contact the managing agent, they just send the owners a letter and nothing changes. When we tell the builders about this, we get ignored or abused for stating this. It is making our lives a misery as we bought the place to semi retire and enjoy the seaside.
  8. We had our windows installed in October 2011 and had nothing but trouble with leaking Eventually, they replaced them in April 2013 but they still leak. We have had 27 visits in total trying to fix the leaks. They are willing to deal with them but they never fix it What should I do next?
  9. We had a complete refurbishment on our flat. We had underfloor heating installed but it has never worked. The tilers the builder supplied had to rip up the element and they relaid it due to having to relay badly laid tiles. An electrician came and said it was broken. We have tried to contact the builder but he ignores us. We have sent letters but they are being ignored. What do I do next?
