  1. Update: After sending them my offer of payment I received a reply basically saying they would freeze all interest and charges etc but their minimum payment requested was still a little higher than I had offered. So I have sent another letter stating that I would be happy to move forward if they could further reduce their requested payment. Fingers crossed. Thanks for all the help I have received, I appreciate it.
  2. Can anyone expand and offer further advice please. I believe it was an actual default notice as it had....This is a default notice served under section87(1) of the consumer credit act 1974" and going on the replies here it was. I haven't sent them anything other than the CCA request lately, and I was waiting on further advice regarding their reply to that before I would know what the next step is. Out of interest...how would one determine if this CCA reply is in fact a proper compliant CCA? What does it need to contain etc? Would I be correct in thinking I now follow your advice and send them the first letter you added? Could you also advise as to how I go about making any payments (on my terms). I'd rather not have to phone these people and I definitely do not want to give them any access to my accounts for the likes of DD's. Sorry for all the questions, but I would be completely lost without the help of everyone on here. Many thanks. Sorry, forgot to ask...what do you mean about reclaiming.?
  3. Thank for the quick reply. Ignore the what is GOGW........I assume it's gesture of goodwill.
  4. Thanks for editing the PDF. I just checked Experian and the report shows as "2 payments late". Everything else on my report is showing as satisfactory.
  5. LATEST. I received this in the post today in response to my CCA request which I sent on 09/09/13. Where do I go from here. The phone calls have continued but they are no longer as frequent as they were. Thanks for the help.
  6. Does my CCA request matter now.....should I make any reply to resolvecall in response to their letter telling me they'll continue to pursue me and if I want the agreement then I need to contact vanquis directly. ..or do I simply ignore them. Should I still be timing the CCA requests to all 3 of these companies....vanquish, impact, and resolvecall? I'm completely lost here, please help if you can. Thanks.
  7. thanks citizen. I cant recall if it was 1st or 2nd class I'm afraid. Have I done the wrong thing in sending them the CCA request?
  8. It does have: This is a default notice served under section87(1) of the consumer credit act 1974.......it at the top of page 2 of their letter. The default letter is dated 16/07 and it says I had until 04/08 to pay the payment due....just under £300.
  9. I have no idea how I approach this from here after sending the CCA requests....I genuinely wish I had the cash to simply just pay the account off and be able to get on with things.
  10. No sorry, I don't think I explained it well. I had been late with I think it was 3 payments....not overly late but still late nonetheless for apr may and june....but I had asked them for help when I knew I was struggling around march. The arrears are showing as just under £300.....but the full account balance is roughly £2700.
  11. last payment was the 4/7/13, and the default letter was dated 16/7/13. The last payment I made was a struggle and it was only made because I felt pressured in a way after their numerous phone calls. I had already requested that they look at my circumstances before this payment, but I thought by trying to pay something they would see I wasn't trying to avoid paying.
  12. Thanks dx100uk. I've had the card for about 3 years, but this is the first I have experienced any arrears or missed payments on the account....this is why I'm a bit annoyed that they weren't interested in offering any kind of help regarding my circumstances.
  13. Hi, Crocdoc : Do you own you home or have any other assets ? No, renting, and I have a car I pay monthly. I'll try to post the default letter. *Struggling to work out how to post the letter image in a size that is readable.
  14. Thanks. I do apologise for the extra thread and understand if it were to be removed.
