I called up customer services who have logged an out of warranty clami for me and given me a reference number. I have also followed this up with an email. Fingers crossed and thanks for all the help. p.s The fridge was actually purchase din January 2013

Hi People I hope this is the correct forum. I bought a Hotpoint fridge freezer for £300 in November 2013. Unfortunately this has now broken down. I have read the forums and i think i can get it fixed under SOGA. Im unsure what my first step should be? I have called hotpoint quoting SOGA but they said its a retailer issue and not ours. Do i call Currys or do i write to them? Please advise what should my first/next step be?
