We can advise that if the full amount is paid by 7th September 2013, the Judgement Order will not be registered against you. If you are not able to pay the debt in full by this date, the Judgement Order will be registered against you for a period of six years." On their website they boast about being hired by the country's largest landowner; Obviously loved by the rich and feared by the poor.

This "company" will not only pursue the debt vigorously, they will add insult to injury and rub salt in the wound. I too was unable to keep up payments on my OU course (major surgery and housing issues). I agreed to pay a monthly amount with the Leaver company. I kept up the payments,. However, due to being extremely busy at work and not being paid until the last working day of the month, my payments were never made on the due date (28th of the month). I wrongly assumed that as long as payments were made and not missed (never more than a week after due date) there would be no problem. WRONG!!!! I have just received a letter (after making payment), stating that because payments were always late, they had obtained a Court order for full payment of remainder (PLUS additional costs!) due within one month. I could continue to pay monthly, but judgement against me would remain on record and come up on credit searches. I strongly suspect that they purposely chose the 28th of the month, knowing that most salaried people are paid on the last working day of the month, making it difficult to pay on the due date. This "professional" people are among many that are making hay while the sun of recession and hard times shines. They profit from misery and hardship. WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!!!!!
