  1. I think you're right, CAB don't seem to know much about logbook loans, I'll try national debtline. Thank you for all your help.
  2. No the cars worth more but I don't want them to sell my car I want it back
  3. Excuse me if I'm being dim but am I sending that to the company who I took the logbook loan out with?
  4. I've just checked through the agreement and it does list the default charges but they did not send me a section 87 notice. Is there anything I can do?
  5. No they didn't send me a DN although they are saying that they did... also I have paid back over a third so I'm pretty sure that they are supposed to get a court order which they didn't, just don't know what to do next?
  6. Ok guys, I've just found out that the Bill of Sale was registered in time ( 02/10/12 I signed it on 27/09/12) so am I completely screwed or is there anything I can do to get my car back? If anyone else needs to find out if a Bill of Sale has been registered email Lindsay.hutchinson@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk really helpful, replies straight away & above all didn't charge me.
  7. O right sorry blonde moment, I'm a bit new to all the abbreviations. Thank you.
  8. I've just rang the police, spoke to an officer, they are adamant they can't get involved & I have to go to a solicitor but she did give me a crime reference number & no they refused to let me get my personal belongings because I have the key & they don't want me to know where they are keeping my car! I'm livid!
  9. Ok thank you for your help, I'm so grateful to everyone who's replied to me on here, you've given me some strength!
  10. I haven't got the proof yet that the Bill of Sale wasn't registered because they're saying they've just covered up the registration number & stamp because they don't have to show it to me
  11. What do I tell them, that the Bill of Sale is in dispute or just report it stolen?
