  1. Yes its fully paid off, letter confirming its closed. On credit file its marked as Status:- up to date Delinquent Balance:- £6333 Current Balance:- £0 I just cant understand the delinquent date, as I paid that month and then carried on paying £150 a month hence the refund of £1200 Is it something I need to worry about? Huge thanks for your help!
  2. Thank you very much, will send the letter to dca tomorrow. If they wont listen will send the follow up. Having `stalked' this forum for ages its a huge help to have a guiding hand, have another debt will post in appropriate section when ready to tackle it! hopefully be able to post back with some good news, Thanks Also am I right that I dont have to give them an income/expenditure form, they are trying to insist I do and it has to be the one they sent?
  3. Sorry just to add, due to an error with Barclaycard I actually continued paying for a few months, they admitted error on their part and have refunded my overpayment of about £1200. Also sent £50 compensation and a letter stating the account settled and now closed. Maybe this helps?
  4. Many thanks for your response, The date is the same as the last payment due, the payment was made and the balance became £0. There is no default date on the file, it just shows 6 payments late continually since 08/2009, no records on file before that. Just a little upset if the delinquint entry will stay on for 6 years. Is delinquint as bad/worse than a default? Thanks.
  5. Thanks for reply, Unfortunatly there has always been payments on and off. Contact by letter, currently getting quite nasty ones, as I stopped paying £130 per month, offered them £16 a month, they want more...... If it makes a difference, I have no assets? Aim was/is to reduce amount so eventually can offer full and final, they have offered to reduce by 25% but there is no way I can afford that at the minute. Thanks.
  6. Hi, has anyone had a chance to look at the charges? Thanks
  7. Hi, I have checked my credit file and I have a Barclaycard debt dated last delinquint on 09/2012. How do I know if the delinquint date correct, as I am trying to sort out my debts and clear my credit file up. Also the delinquint date is the same date as my final payment. Will be disappointed if this will remain on file until 2018. Any advice?
  8. Hi, fingers crossed I have done this correctly this time! Thanks.
  9. No idea if the pdf has loaded! Huge apologies if I have done it wrong, not very good with computers. Thanks
  10. Brilliant, will do! Will post back when completed! Thanks!
  11. Wonderful, will check statements, thank you! It only states monthly rate of interest? Is that it? Once I have filled it out, is there a letter I send with it? Thank you!
  12. Sorry to be a pain..... Where do I find their interest rate? Just a small bit of background, I have been stalking cag since January and only just got up the courage to post, I have other debt that I will post seperatly when I get to it....one thing at a time. I have gone from never sleeping with worry, to enjoying reading posts on here, its a wonderful job you are all doing, so again thank you for the time and effort your putting in!
  13. Hi, thank you both for replying, I am very grateful! There is no ppi There are late payment charges, going from 2002-2006 £20 x 10. After that they are £12 not too sure how many as Lloydstsb sent someone else's statements only a couple but I want to exact. Are late payment charges the same as penalty charges? Many thanks!
  14. Hi, yes still on credit file, default date is 08/07/2010, no information after that date..... So sorry got the Start date wrong, its 22/08/2002 Thanks
