I just had an appointment in Nationwide to open a current account and they would not accept my Biometric Residence Permit as proof of identity.
How is this possible???
I am non EU national and don't have my passport.
I have been granted a leave to remain for 2.5 years.
They want to see my passport with visa.
I found out they their requirements for opening new accounts is outdated and they asked me for identity documents that do not exist any more.
Is there a way to fight them because it is ridiculous?
Should I contact FSA maybe?
Does anyone know what to do?
