  1. I do have evidential proof of my request that they cancell the contract before the markers were put on my CRA. I will do as you suggest and write a letter to their compliance officer with the proof that I have and request that they remove all negative factors on my CRA. Thank you for all of your help.
  2. Thanks, is there any way to remove the number 8 marker? The account is settled now but the balance still shows as outstanding on Experien
  3. The emails were sent before this, and i do have acknowledgment of my complaint.
  4. Hi, i'm not sure why but ive noticed the title of the thread has changed. 3 havent placed late markers against my CRA (at least i dont think they have unless that is the same as a default), they have actually put two Default's against my CRA both relating to the same charge on the same account.
  5. I have written evidence of my emails to them complaining that they have failed to cancel my contract although i have asked repeatedly. They finally agreed to "cancell" it over the phone so i have no written confirmation from them.
  6. Yeah, they were after the end of the contract period. My contract officially ended in around Jan 2012 and they finally cancelled it alltogether and stopped charging me around 3 months ago. Between then and now i have paid off every bill that they have sent me, whilst trying to get it cancelled at their end, and there is no outstanding balance on the account. I never used their service for the last 2 years as i took out another contract around 18months into the one with 3.
  7. Update, the contract had ran the full 24month duration and then some. They finally agreed to cancel it over 3 years after i first took the contract out so i was not legally tied into it anymore.
  8. Hi All, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place but i'm new to the site. I have an issue with 3, the mobile company, i've just checked my Experien report and have found two default notices on a previous 3 account (both notices on the same account). This account was in dispute with 3 for close to a year with me repeatedly asking them to cancel it and them failing to do so. I finally managed to get it "cancelled" and was told to ignore all future communication about the account and that the balance had been wiped. I then received a letter from a debt recovery agency saying that i owed £23 on the account so i thought it would be less hassle to just pay it and get it over with. I settled the outstanding amount with the credit company but have now found that i have two default notice 8's against my Experien record submitted by 3. Does anyone have any ideas how i refute this?
