Hi, little advise please! Got a partial settlement from Barclays this morning. From the posts I gather that I accept this as a partial settlement, and not full and final as they say. so do I write to them and say i accept it as a partial claim, but will still go to court unless settled, then give them another 14 days to respond, or do i go straight to issuing the court claim? I did phone them and they said they would not increase or settle in full. I'm figuring on going straight for the court claim, but wanted to check correctey procedure. thanks guys tracey

I assumed I could claim unfair charges made by catalogues as well as banks. I Got hit for lots of charges from Ace christmas catalogue. Sent them a letter (from the templates on this site) to check the account history. They owed me £175! So I sent a second letter listing the charges (using another letter from this site), and today they refunded me the lot! No hastle at all. Would recommend anyone else with catalogue charges to do the same.
