Ok so, i have tried logging into my PayPal account to see if it was still had negative balance but i am unable to, i think that they have deleted my PayPal account! So i guess this is over or?

I got a call from an Unknown number today. I dont answer calls from Unknown/Blocked numbers but im gonna go ahead and guess it was Paypal or iQor maybe?

I recieved an email from PayPal 7 hours ago and im not quite sure what it means... it says ---------------------------- Dear Alex PayPal has made a transfer between the balances in your account for the following reason: Our policy of converting all negative balances to E after 4 days The following transfers were made: Negative balance : -395.82 GBP Covered from : 466.19 EUR (1 Euro = 0.851193 British Pounds) ----------------------------- So now my PayPal balance is negative -£407.11. They just transferred it to Euro or what?

A letter just arrived from Akinika telling me about the debt with accepted methods of payment and also that If i do not take action to resolve it immediately, they may commence legal action the in the County Court / Sherriff Court. It also says that they may also instruct a doorstep collector to visit my home to discuss my financial circumstances and agree terms of repayment/schedule regarding the outsanding debt. Should i ignore this due to them saying they will send it back to PayPal after i gave Akinika my CRN? The date of the letter is the same day they called me. Thanks again

I just recieved a call from a DCA called Akinika (Formerly known as iQor UK). They were telling me how PayPal passed it onto them and if i knew about the debt and stuff. I told them that yes i know about it and i reported everything to the Police and that i also have a Crime Reference Number. I gave the lad my CRN and he told me they will send this back to PayPal and see what happens from there. Anything i should know for later on down the line? Thanks again!

They called again. I said the exact same thing and hung up.

Ok once again... Just to make sure because im odd! PayPal cannot touch my bank account even though they know my sort code and account number right? I got a completely new debit card.

Ok well i just called Barclays again and got my card blocked and reported as stolen. They are sending me a new one and the guy on the phone said there is no way PayPal can touch it because its all completely new numbers and stuff on the card. So i guess i can put money in my bank account and not worry eh? Thanks again for your help Scotgal youve been amazing!

i went into the branch and they told me to call Barclays fraud number. i came home called the fraud number and the lady tells me that any direct debit has been cancelled and they have blocked paypal for me. I told her that i wanted to stop PayPal from taking anything from my account and she asked if its Direct debit or just card payments sometimes and i told her that i do buy things using paypal sometimes but i dont want to use them again. She told me that all she can block is the Direct Debit, which is already blocked. But not anything else and she wasnt sure if PayPal could just dip into my account and take my money once i deposit my cash in my account. She told me that i could cancel the card and get a new one but that may not stop PayPal from getting money from the new card. So not much happened with that call... This is so annoying and frustrating. I have been having trouble to sleep! I just want it to all go away.

So if i do this then there is no way PayPal can take money out of my account? Can PayPal tell my bank im in the negative and then my bank will side with PayPal? Thanks

I did contact my bank and told them to stop direct debits to paypal and stuff. My eBay account is still active. My brother has one too i think so yeah. Im not too bothered if that happens if im honest.

Just got another call from PayPal just now. I said exactly what you told me to say and while im hanging up he says "We cant do that" but i hung up anyway. I dont understand why he said he couldnt do that, they have my address and all my details.
