  1. I'm not sure. But it just dosnt seem right or fair that they getting all that income and still get full housing and council tax support. My partner works full time I don't and we get a small amount of Tax Credits and we get not help with our rent or council tax.
  2. The wife has been working scince March 2015. The husband starting getting pension credit in about September 2015.
  3. He gets £230 weekly pension credit. She gets a full time monthly wage of about £1000 and full award of housing and council tax award. So basically they do not pay thier rent or council tax. Surely this can't be right. It's like 2 weekly wages coming in.
  4. But i wouldn't have thought they would get full housing and council tax with the other person working full time. My partner works full time and we get a small amount of Working Tax Credits and we are not in tilted to anything.
  5. Hi I have found out that someone i Know is getting full Pension Credit his wife also works 40+ hours a week and they get FULL Housing and Council Tax Benefit. Surely this cant be right. Anyone know if this is right, or are they committing Benefit Fraud? Thanks in Advance
  6. Hi All My partner has been offered a full time job starting on 7 May 14. We get 2 weeks oney on Friday, with £30 taken off for social fund re payments. When we sign off next week we will be entitled to about a weeks money, maybe a bit less, and £15 taken off for social fund repayments. My partner has to work a month in advance. I was wondering if anyone know's of any help we will get towards living costs until he gets his first monthly wage. Thank you in advance Charlotte
  7. I paid the money that was owed to you. At no time was I advised that if i cancelled my DD it would effect my payments. I am seeking legal action from my solicitor re this. I am also asking my bank on what date you arranged the DD on. Because i have a letter here from you saying the payments will start on the 4.4.13.
  8. Hi All On the 18 March 2013 I got a Smart TV from BAYV. Because of the type of TV it is, it is unable to have a coin meter attached to it. So I had to set up a Direct Debit. This was all done and i recieved a letter confirming first payment would be taken out on 4.4.13. Because I recieve Job Seekers, I cancelled my DD just in case my JSA isnt paid in i will not aacure bank charges ect and requested a paypoint card. This was all done for me. Because it took 10 days for them to cancell my DD they first payment was taken from my bank on 5.4.13 and i saved the second payment to pay this coming Friday 12.4.13 with my paypoint card. Today the account Manager Shane Woollas came to take my TV away. All because my DD had been cancelled. And I was out when he came my partner was told to forge my signature on my behalf!! The main manger has phoned me today to say because i had cancelled my DD they thought i wasnt going to pay for the goods, but i requested a paypoint card. This is beyond me and has left me with no TV and im extremly angry to say the leest. Any help is appreciated Thanks in Advance
