And did you get it back from A&L? Also on reading your thread I notice that you can't claim monthly OD chgs, I have included this in my orginal letters to A&L, can I take them out now? Sorry another question can I claim unauthorised OD Chgs? Thank you

  13. Hi Fantastic news that you won against A&L. I have just received a letter from them today, stating that their charges are fair and therefore, they wont refund me the £2036.50 charges. Could you help me. What letter should I send to them on reply? Or do I just start the court proceedings?

  15. Hello thank you for taking the time to read this. I currently have two accounts with MBNA which I have requested a refund of charges on. The first one the charges are £605 MBNS have offered £340, the second one the chgs are £315 MBNA have offered £140. Should I accecpt their offer, if not which letter do I then send. Secondly both my accounts are with their collections dept and have the interest frozen. Due to the fact I have financial difficulties, they have offered to take the refund off the bal. I have read that I can ask for a chq, can I do this if the account is with collections? Sorry I'm sure these questions are answered on the website, but I'm a little confused and unsure what to do. Thank you Sam
