  1. Hi Just thought i'd let you know I am in same position as you re Natwest Business Account. Cobbetts sent letter this wekk offering £650 goodwill...... I replied yesterday declining their offer. They too said they'd use the 'without predj. ' letter in court. I in turn explained that without knowing how much it costs them to return DD/SO etc. I didn't know if £650 was a fair offer!! Janet
  2. Not quite - I forgot to put in the POC that Natwest already had the schedule of charges, account no etc. I also didn't specify the Statute or section no. I have given these in the draft I will be sending. It's the Common Law bit I'm struggling with... Thanks for any help you can give.
  3. Hi - I desperately need help. I have a Natwest business account and have gone through the motions. I am now at the stage where I have done the Moneyclaim thing. Because it is a business account I wrote in my particulars "the charges are unlawful at Common Law and contrary to Statute" They have filed a defence insisting that I tell them the particular statute I refer to and the principles of common law relied upon in alleging that the charges are unlawful. Can anyone tell me what I should respond???:o
  4. HI I have tried to claim £1,000 in bank charges on my business acount. Natwest have offered £175 in full and final settlement, stating that unlawful charges only apply to personal accounts. I'm going to continue with my original claim. Has anyone else re-couped business account charges? Janet
