  1. Today I've received a reply stating: 'Here we are only able to assist with technical queries relating to the PCOL website and system prior to a claim being issued. Once a claim has been issued we can no longer assist; only the local court can assist you. We do not need to be copied in as we cannot take any action here. I can confirm that the claim is with the County Court at Brighton so please contact them direct with your query.' I have contacted Brighton County Court today, and need to wait to hear back from them.
  2. Update number two: NORTHANTS: They've been instructed by their clients to collect the balance, in reference to a CCJ that was collected quite a while ago. As they’d not gotten payment, they’ve asked northants to enforce the matter. I told him I’m to ask about wanting a CCJ and POC, he asked me I’d have to go through the court Brighton County Court. I then asked what happens meanwhile, whilst I wait to hear from Brighton Court , as I've been given a deadline. He told me they’re instructed to collect balance on given date and time. If I don’t reach payment, by time given, an enforcement officer would attend address and discuss the matter. He said they have to collect balance in full at this stage, I explained it said I could come to a payment agreement, as started to their letter. He said it would have to be discussed with the agent, explain my circumstances to the officer. BRIGHTON COURT: Explained that I got a letter from Northants. That I wanted to ask for POC and CCJ, who asked me to phone Brighton Court. She asked which court it was for, I told her High Court-Manchester District Registry. She said ‘Manchester? So it’s not one of us’. Then told her letter states Brighton County Court and told her my claim number, my name, current address and postcode (all of which were asked for) Asked name of claimant, gave: said Ridgewood Estates Limited. She asked if I moved address. Told her not recently. Then she said she couldn’t give me any other information, due to above information given being incorrect and data protection. I asked if she wanted other addresses (previous), but she said they can’t take another address because she’d already asked me the three questions. Regardless of what I asked her, she said she couldn't give anymore details due to Data Protection. She gave me number for Registry trust, said I could speak to them if its to do with a CCJ. REGISTRY OF JUDGEMENTS Credit reference not registered info comes from court, case number not showing up I explained that Brighton court told me I gave them wrong details, and that lady couldn't tell me anymore (due to Data Protection) and to phone them for CCJ and POC. The person said my case number wasn’t coming up on their system, it's not registered with them, according to case number. They also told me that it might not be registered with them. They went onto to tell me that all defendant (couldn't quite understand the word)) cases usually got sent to them. They were not sure, it may be that my case hasn't been registered with with yet, it's not showing up on their system I asked them difference between registered and non-registered. They told me that the case doesn’t come through to them if its not registered, only comes through when its registered. They get the registered information and pass it to the credit agencies, so that’s held on people credit files. All their information comes from the Court, they hold the data at the/of the public register. So the Court hasn't given them clarity, hence my case not registered.
  3. Northants Bulk County Court said I need to contact Brighton court to get POC and CCJ. According to the guy at Northants 'I need to pay the entire amount', I pointed out that on the letter sent it says I can either pay in full, or come to an agreement, he then said I need to pay the full amount, I again stated that is says on the letter I can agree to pay in installments. Anyhow he's asked me to phone Brighton Court. I asked what would happen, he said unless I pay on the agreed date, enforcement officer will come to my address and I can discuss payment with them. The above is an update from Northants.
  4. Okay so I try to ring Brighton County Court on the number on the website, an automated voice gives me an alternative number to call. As soon as I call the new number, it says SCAM on my phone. I've typed in the number and a number of websites claim it is a SCAM number. Anyhow I ring the number and I get a recorded message: 'Thank you for calling HMEEF/HMBEF' I've called the number a number of times and still cannot tell if it's hmeef/hmbef. It's an southern English accent! They give a web address with the hmeef/hmbef/hmdef and I've tried to look it up and it says 'there aren't many great matches for your search'. hmcef is based in Devon and seems to be concerned with highway maintenance.
  5. Okay so I think I've managed to convert the file to PDF. I don't often carry out this pdf thing, so please excuse me if I've done it wrong. I'll try to correct it if I've done it the wrong. NOE.pdf
  6. Hello dx100uk, I cannot find my addresses on the credit checker if that it what you mean, but I have been sent letters from Barbon before the other addresses I've lived at. I've thought about it and it just seems weird that it was two of us, me and a flatmate who moved into the flat. We both signed the contract, if I can remember it was a joint tenancy. The contract was for 6 months and I have to pay it all? I've been trying to find out how much the both of us owed-and I've been given no information, despite following the advice form these forums. Is there anyway I can ask this High Court to break down all that is owed?
  7. I've just checked my credit file and my credit has gone up by 50 and the next update is in a month. The only information on my credit check is info on my Credit card, which I am paying back monthly.
  8. Hello dx100uk, It is about the previous information above. I followed the advice given to me previously, regarding requesting a SAR, and gave them a month to get back, yet heard nothing at all from them. But I did get similar letters from Barbon/Bardon-with no mention of a CCJ. Then it's this month (Mar 2022) that I get sent a letter with Wilson & Roe, High Court Enforcement, and asked to sort out payment by 23rd March 2022. I wasn't sent any CCJ before, then I got the letter sent by Wilson & Roe with their High Court Enforcement.
  9. Hello all, I got a letter from Wilson & Roe and their Notice of Enforcement. This is a high court enforcement. It involves rent owed to former Agency and I have sent them e-mails about this-thanks to the lovely people on this forum and their advice on what to write to them, how to word it etc. It's the same Ridgewood Estates as has been before. They have never replied back to any of my e-mails I've sent. So now we've got this high court enforcement. I owe them £9421.96. I've got until 23rd March to either pay the entire amount, or set up a payment option. Can I please have some advice on this. Thank you.
  10. Thanks for your reply Kyosanto, I booked directly via British Airways, so luckily I don't have to worry about going through an agent etc.
  11. Hello all, BA have decided to cancel flights I've booked and have changed the timings. The flights are from London to Istanbul 28th December and Istanbul to London 10th of January. 28th of December has been changed from 9.25 to 17.35 which is around 8 hours. 10th January has been changed from 17.30 to 07.45 which is around 9 hours. the issue here is that I accepted the change for the 28th December, the other one I've not done anything yet. I'm wondering if it is at all possible for me to be able to cancel the 28th December flight, or is it too late now that I've accepted. I initially thought that the 28th December one would be alright, however, thinking about it now with luggage it'll be possible that we won't get to the hotel until after midnight, and I'd prefer to avoid this if possible. Am I still within my rights to cancel the 28th of December flight?
  12. I purchased an item 2 years ago, no selling, just a purchase. I know I should have done something about it sooner, but when I changed my mobile number I tried to login into my account and it kept asking for to send a code to the older phone number-but I no longer had access to this older number, so there was nothing I could do. Yes this is my only debt
  13. Thanks Andyorch But can Paypal do anything themselves? I mean my credit score has gone downhill-no surprises there But what shall I do, can Paypal do anything? I mean I'm not willing to offer anything more than £10 per month to pay them back (like many others due to covid work issues) but I don't know what to do now
  14. Sigh! Hello all, I owe Paypal money etc and they've been constantly asking for me to pay them. Trouble is I've got a new mobile number, and I've tried several times to login and change, yet they keep asking to send a message to my old number which I no longer have access to! I phoned Paypal and told them about the change of number several days ago, today I try to login-and my number has not been updated! Yet they insist on a phone number (yes I know for security reasons, but what if somebody doesn't own a mobile number, or doesn't want to give it a Paypal?) the debt has been passed onto wescottor westcot-whatever their name is. The most pathetic thing being wescot sending me what clearly resembles a payslip and after having opened it, it says I owe them money blah, blah, yada, yada, yada. I cannot login into Paypal and cannot check what is going on, but I was wondering what will happen now? What powers to wescot have?
  15. I asked for my hours to be reduced and the manager and his manager were fine with this.
  16. I've looked at their terms of notice under the contract that I signed, I find the wording a little confusing: 1) There is no clause 13.1 anywhere on the contract. 2) I left out 12.4-12.5 because they cover garden leave and the employer making you take annual leave-if it's left. I've e-mail Payroll and have asked them for a repayment plan, so shall have to wait and see what happens.
  17. The thing is I'll still owe my current company the annual leave etc, and I don't think I'd get any of the hours I've worked back in my final pay, as they'll take it all off, plus I'll still owe them. Is there nothing I can do regarding the current company? If I leave early I'll lose a lot of money, which is where the problem lies.
  18. Thanks fkofilee, Did you mean ask the new company to bring the start of employment date forward? But just in case things don't go to plan, can I ask the current company to pay back after I leave? I don't trust the current company a single bit, they've gone downhill in the past 2-3 years, high staff turnover, difficulty retaining staff etc.
  19. I'm not too sure, the company I want to work for are still waiting for one of my references-I have gotten my DBS, and all my other documents are fine. But if I leave earlier would the current company not make a big deal out of it? The other issue is that my partner works for the same company, and if I leave early, they probably would ask him questions about what I'm doing, where I am etc.
  20. Hello all, I wrote to my employer around a week ago to hand in my one months notice. They were fine but here is where issues arise: I reduced my hours from 28 to 18 in June, they've overpaid me, and want me to pay it back-by the 6th of September, this is when my notice period ends. I've paid them half, and they'll deduct the rest from my final pay. I was only told on Friday the 9th of August that I owe them 44 hours of annual leave, as since April 2019 I had an entitlement of 123 hours of annual leave, out of which I've used up 95 hours, but as I'm leaving in September instead of March 2020, my annual leave has been reduced, so I've overtaken annual leave, and it needs to be paid back. I do shift work, and due to what is available, I will have to work up to six days a week, and every weekend, I've already worked the past two weekends, and have to work the next few until 6th September. I'm wondering if there is anyway I can come up with an agreement to repay, where I pay them back AFTER I leave the employment. I'm asking because I cannot afford to pay all of the money owed, or if I do, it will be a very big struggle, and too much for me. Here is the part from the contract about holiday payment: Is there any hope-of partial payments after I leave, or will I have to work a lot, or pay back money I cannot afford at the moment. I know some will say that I should have thought about this a few months before, but I wasn't aware that a suitable job would turn up like this. Thanks for reading this, and please let me know if you need any more clarification.
  21. Thanks folks, I've written to Barbor or Barbon requesting a SAR, asking them for relevant details, and have told them that they have 1 month to get back to me. So I'll wait and see what happens now. Thanks again for helping me out here
  22. Thanks for your replies folks, dx100uk, I'm sorry for using swear words, I didn't intend to offend anybody. stu007 the problem is that when I told them about the harrassing flatmate, they appeared to understand, they didn't say anything about it. The problem is that I have no documents as stupidly I got rid of them-as I thought they were fine with what I had told them. Yours sincerely, Zoe Wales Recoveries Handler Barbon Insurance Group Limited Contact number: 0330 333 7063 1. What type of Tenancy Agreement did you have? If I can remember it was a joint tenancy and I was not the lead tenant, I'm sure the flatmate was. 2. How long was the Agreement for? 6 months for the both of us. 3. Did you give them proper notice to quit as per your tenancy agreement?. I told them of why I couldn't live there, they seemed fine, as I then heard back from them telling me that the flatmate had caused them a lot of problems, and that neighbours had complained about him playing loud music at night, being noisy and arguing etc. 4. Did the Estate Agency agree to you moving out and mention any costs? (do you have this in writing) No nothing was mentioned-as far as I can remember. But I would be looking out for this anyway-as I was expecting them to tell me something-but nothing. 5. Was a Check Out done when you moved from the property? (do you have a copy of this in writing) I'm afraid I cannot remember 6. When you moved from the Property was the Estate Agency aware of your new address? I really cannot remember, however, they've managed to track down where I am living now (I've lived in several different places, since I moved out of that flat) You see this is why it's strange, as I was expecting them to tell me something about owing them money, but I got nothing, then suddenly Barbon decide to contact me out of the blue-demanding money out of me. As I said before I got rid of any information from them, as when I told them I'll be moving out, they seemed to be fine with it.
