My son started working for a company a few months ago self employed. He's had no training in doing his job and after an accident of flooding a customers hallway. His boss is now stopping a whole months wages. This apparently is to make sure he pays for the damage. He has public liability insurance and is going to go down this route. He isn't disputing the flooding accident. Surely this is illegal ?
