  1. I received a pcn for entering a bus lane. When I went back over the route there is a sign saying the bus lane ends just before a large roundabout (shepherds bush road approaching Hammersmith roundabout). It seems the bus lane then moves to the right hand of the 2 lanes I've never seen this before. The reason for this is not clear so unless you are planning to turn left at the roundabout you automatically are in the bus lane. The sign for this bus lane is a few yards after it starts. When going back over the route I nearly made the same mistake. If there is a bus in the left hand bus lane at the bust stop at the end of the lane then you can't see the new bus lane sign at all. If you don't move to the left lane then you're stuck in the bus lane because nobody lets you back in. I sent an appeal within 2 weeks. I received no rejection just a letter to say the fine had increased to £195. I emailed to say I had sent an appeal. They replied to say my appeal had been rejected and theyre not responsible for me not receiving thier response and resent the £195 charge last Friday. Today (6 days later) I have received an order for recovery from the court. Are they allowed to ignore my rejection and be so heavy handed with a court order? The fine should have been £40 as I sent the appeal within 2 weeks. Must I now pay the £195 and court fees?
